SUMMARY:Camp Lavi Pink Challah Bake 2025
DESCRIPTION:As part of Camp Lavi’s continued commitment to chesed and raising awareness\, girls campus will once again lead a Sharsheret pink challah bake. The baking of challah is a tradition deeply rooted in our culture and one that has been happening for hundreds of years. On August 8th\, our campers will bake challah for Shabbat and join together in heartfelt tefillot for a refuah shlema for all those in need. \nThis year’s camp theme\, Dor L’Dor – From One Generation to the Next\, highlights the power of passing down values\, traditions\, and life-saving knowledge. Sharsheret’s mission aligns beautifully with this theme as Sharsheret is dedicated to empowering the next generation with critical health awareness. Through age appropriate conversations\, one can begin to learn the tools to protect their health —impacting not only their own lives but future generations as well. \nWe invite you to sponsor your child’s participation in this special event. 100% of the proceeds will benefit Sharsheret’s life-saving programs both in the US and in Israel. We are excited to share that with our Israel-based Sharsheret professionals and volunteers\, women and families in Israel can access emotional support and mental health counseling\, patient navigation to work through the complex Israeli medical system\, and peer support to connect with other women facing similar diagnoses. \nBy participating in this meaningful event\, our campers will gain a deeper understanding of the role this incredible organization plays within the Jewish community.
