She is currently the Vice Chair of the Palliative Care Committee for One Oncology. In addition to being a board-certified clinician and an administrator with over 25 years of experience in the field\, Tina is an author\, educator\, mentor\, presenter\, and board member of the NJ Palliative Care APN Consortium since its inception in 2009. She is passionate about sharing information and coordinating good care. Her mission is to ensure patients\, loved ones\, physicians\, nurses\, and health care administrators become familiar with the impactful benefits of incorporating palliative care early in the care of anyone living with a serious or life-limiting illness.

Writing is one of the ways that many are able to process what they have been through\, or are still going through. There is a long poetic history of writing about illness and trauma. The exciting thing is that you don’t need to have any writing experience to join us for the opportunity to hear some poems that are sure to resonate with you\, and to begin writing yourself! Join Sharsheret as we partner with Yetzirah: A Hearth for Jewish Poetry\, and welcome Maya Bernstein to lead us in this unique opportunity.
