DESCRIPTION:Team Sharsheret is now full for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. All applicants will be added to our waitlist. Thank you.  \nSharsheret is proud to be an official charity partner of New York Road Runners\, for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon this year! The course runs through all five of New York City’s boroughs: Staten Island\, Brooklyn\, Queens\, the Bronx\, and Manhattan’s iconic Central Park. It is a 26.2-mile block party through the world’s most diverse city\, and a model for big-city marathons around the world. Through this partnership\, we provide you the opportunity to make your miles meaningful and support Sharsheret’s free national breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and raise awareness and funds that benefit thousands of Jewish women and families nationwide. \nAS A TEAM SHARSHERET ATHLETE YOU RECEIVE: \n\nCoveted slot in the 2026 TCS NYC Marathon.\nOngoing fundraising assistance and tips from Sharsheret staff\, along with a personalized fundraising page.\nPersonalized training schedule from our certified coach.\nOfficial Team Sharsheret running jersey and swag.\nAccess to a private What’s App group for Team Sharsheret athletes.\nRoundtrip airfare from anywhere in the continental US.\nPre-race dinner in NYC.\n\nAS A TEAM SHARSHERET ATHLETE YOU WILL: \n\nCommit to raise $6\,000 by race day\, November 1\, 2026. SUMMARY:2027 Life Time Miami Marathon and Half
DESCRIPTION:Held annually\, this iconic race brings together thousands of dedicated runners from around the globe\, eager to conquer the scenic streets of this tropical paradise. She carries a Cancer Exercise Specialist Certification\, earned her master’s degree in Exercise Science and works as a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer at the David Posnack JCC in Davie\, Florida. Tracey is a mom of 2 young children and enjoys running\, watching her kids play sports\, spending time with her family\, pets and friends and relaxing at the beach. \nTracey learned at the age of 25 that she was BRCA1+ and was diagnosed with stage 3b triple negative breast cancer in May of 2020. After receiving support from Sharsheret throughout and after treatment\, which ended in September 2022\, Tracey wanted to give back by joining Sharsheret’s Southeast Community Advisory Committee and participating in several virtual and in-person speaking engagements.  Tracey also ran the 2022 Chicago Marathon\, 2025 and 2026 Miami Marathon and Half as part of Team Sharsheret and is serving as the Team Trainer for the Team Sharsheret 2027 Miami Marathon and Half. \n\n\n\n\n For more information\, please contact Southeast Region Director\, Deborah Litwak at dlitwak@sharsheret.org or 866.474.2774. \nAPPLY NOW
